A Wedding Date in Hot Springs, Arkansas by Annalisa Daughety

5.0

Beautifully written. The characters were real and imperfect and redeemable. I found myself cheering for Violet and Jackson, and even the lovable dog. I loved the theme of leaving fear behind and walking into personal freedom. Every character, save one (Violet's sister), came to a point of understanding related to this. It was very evident. I also really liked how the concept of family/community was linked together through each story.
As far as I'm concerned, this is a keeper. Bravo!
