Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard
5.0
Reading this book for the second time around, just wanted to reread the series(except the first book as I’ve read it multiple times already) and try out the novellas as I never had a chance to read them. This was as good as it was before, I still love it. I really forget how much I enjoy this genre until I slide back into it.
My favorite parts of this series is the intensity of it. Death and destruction and blood and gore are not hidden, but completely out in the open. It’s a good representation of the realities of war. There are no truly moral deeds in war, simply doing what you must.
