Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by David Levithan, Rachel Cohn
5.0
Christmas-ish books being one of my favourite readings I knew I had to pick this book up just right now. And I couldn't regret it less.
Besides this book being the epitome of cute and funny, it also had tons of quotes I desesperatly wanted to highlight (and I couldn't because I sadly don't own this book (yet!)) and tons of beautiful messages and deep stuff I wanted my brain to withhold.
Having read [b:Will Grayson, Will Grayson|6567017|Will Grayson, Will Grayson|John Green|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1368393890s/6567017.jpg|6759965] before, I hadn't believe this kind of writing (both p.o.v's alternating) would do /it/ again for me. But I was proved wrong. I loved how the writing let me discover both Dash and Lily's quirky persons gradually.
Plot-speaking, I loved how everything just fit. How something had been a little different Dash and Lily would have never met or their story/relationship/love (?) would have never worked. But it did work, because their character development (TINY not-so SPOILER! including the appearence of Sofia and Edgar) worked extremely well. And while some people might find the developement of the events or just the story per se, I found it delightful, because I also believe life's like that events finding themselves along casualties or maybe just us writing our own destiny with what life throws us.
To close this, I really like this book, I thought it was light, fluffy and had a great time reading it, so people, READ THIS.
