This is a really interesting mashup of sci-fi romance and historical Western romance. It is set on Mars when people are starting to colonize it.

This novella is short and sweet, so it doesn't have a lot of depth. But the characters are nice and the world is really interesting. I'm looking forward to continuing the series.

This was good. Hated nick but I'm glad she saw sense and kicked him out. Honestly just not sure cyborg is for me. Just can't seem to picture it the red eyes seem a bit freaky. Otherwise if it's your thing it would be a good short read.

I bought the wanting to find out what the author was like, and if the series that follows was worth checking out?
Nice, quirky, worth reading further, definitely want to keep going.
Way more fun than I expected, and just as unexpectedly sweet. Very enjoyable.
Will most likely full review when I re-read.

I would say, there's no way we'll ever as a race of beings think that cyborgs don't have feelings but look at how we treat people of color

**Tropes**
- Protective MMC

📖 **My Thoughts**
Nice filler read, listened to it on audiobook. Humans are setting up a settlement on Mars, robot-men are the law. He's begins to feel again, she begins to trust agin

⚠️ **Triggers**
Mentions of foster system, mild mentions of threats. Mentions of being in a war but not much detail

🌶️ **Spice**
Spice came aout 60% through, sweet, nothing out of the ordinary (except he's part robot ob)
