This is a book that will be forever available in my bookshelf, since it is meant to be read more than once.

I felt every emotion possible, it’s a perfect piece to appreciate during the festivities, I am not shy to say that it has marked me forever.

Now I must add to my bucket list to visit the real grave of Ebenezer Scrooge (“the meal man” that was mistakenly read as “the mean man” by Charles Dickens), to thank him for being a wonderful inspiration for this brilliant piece of art.

I absolutely love A Christmas Carol. Though a short book, Charles Dickens manages to make you feel like you know each character. Any emotion that a character feels, you feel it too.

What an amazing story. Glad to have finally read it. The George C. Scott version of this movie is pretty close to the original tale.

I love Christmas joy during summer!! The poetry of the prose was incredible — you could hear every hop and skip in the audiobook. Truly heartwarming.

The ultimate Christmas classic. Social commentary (which is unfortunately and surprisingly timeless), ghosts, tale of morality, tale of woe and greed, tale of isolation,...whatever way you want to spin it, this story has it. There's not much to say on the subject that hasn't been said. Great, classic book.

Audiobook, Tim Curry version, [b:A Christmas Carol|12251075|A Christmas Carol|Charles Dickens|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1386868686s/12251075.jpg|3097440]: Curry was a fantastic choice. His voice is rich and deep, able to affect both a gravelly texture or an oily smarminess, as needed. My only problem with Curry's performance was the effect his surprisingly deep voice has on his ability to tune into a female register. He never quite made that work, but luckily (for this reference) there are few women speakers throughout the book.
